This study aims to (1) identify and analyze the moral values represented in the film Wicked (2024) based on Eyre and Eyre’s (2010) theory, and (2) explain the implications of those moral values for the development of critical literacy in English language learning. This research employs a qualitative approach using Qualitative Content Analysis (QCA). The object of the study is the film Wicked (2024), with selected scenes as the unit of analysis. The researcher acts as the main instrument (human instrument) and applies purposive sampling to select scenes containing moral values and ethical issues. Data are collected through repeated viewing, scene selection, transcription of dialogues, and documentation of visual elements. The data are then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data is ensured through investigator triangulation supported by data and theory triangulation. The findings show that (1) all eleven moral value categories proposed by Eyre and Eyre (2010) are represented in Wicked (2024), reflected through characters’ actions, dialogues, and visual elements; and (2) these moral values contribute significantly to the development of critical literacy by encouraging students to interpret, evaluate, and reflect on social and ideological meanings in English language learning.
