Name : Birgita Vebriyanti Elaheka Lalang NPM : 1974201005 Title : Customary Dispute Resolution Regarding Freehold Title land In West Kutai Barat Regency, viewed through the lens of the Regulation of the minister of Agraria Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Number 21 of 2020 concerning the Handling and Resulution of Land Cases Supervisor : 1. Andri Pranata, SH.,M.Kn Customary dispute resolution regarding freehold land remains a non-litigation alternative practiced within the communities of west kutai barat regency. In this process, the customary institution acts as a mediator or neutral party, providing solutions and decisions that are final and binding on both disputing parties, while upholding legal values and norms, the principle of justice and equality before the law, and the ideology of pancasila. This study employs a normative research method- examining and analyzing legal rules, principles, norms, and doctrines with the primary objective of resolving legal issues through literature review rather than fieldwork, utilizing primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources.
